18 year youth killed in road mishap in Shopian | KNO

Shopian, July 20 (KNO) : An 18 year old youth was killed in a road accident in Sindoo Shirmal area of South kashmir's Shopian district. Sources told KNO that a tanker bearing registration no TN 88Y 8732 hit a scooty bearing registration no JK 13 D 3510 in Sindoo shirmal resulted in critical injury to scooty driver. He was shifted to district hospital Shopian in critical condition where he succumbed to his injuries. The deceased has been identified as Moonis shabir son of shabir Ahmad Bhat resident of Gabberpora Hawal area of Shopian district. A police official while confirming his death to KNO said that a case has been registered and further investigation is going on. "The dead body will be given after all legal rites," he said. (KNO)
